Ashcroft Urgent and Primary Care Centre (UPCC)

About Ashcroft Urgent and Primary Care Centre (UPCC)

Ashcroft Urgent and Primary Care Centre (UPCC) provides team-based care for non-emergency health concerns to individuals in Ashcroft that require same day attention. Care is available for concerns such as minor injuries, sprains and strains, infections, less serious child illness and injury, high fever, and cuts, wounds or skin conditions.

If you do not have a family doctor/nurse practitioner, or you are unable to get an appointment with your care provider that day, you can visit the UPCC. A health-care team is available, virtually or in-person to provide care for your health issues. You may see one or more of the following health professionals depending on your care needs:

  • Family physician
  • Nurse practitioner
  • Registered nurse
  • Social worker
  • Physiotherapist
  • Mental health and substance use clinicians
  • Aboriginal Patient Navigator

UPCC Patients are seen based on urgency, not on a first come first serve. Appointments will not be made to see a medical provider, but a phone triage with one of our Registered Nurses prior to coming in is recommended. For assistance please call 250-453-2211.
