Interior Health's Public Health Department oversees the promotion of health and the prevention of disease and injury. It is also responsible for Health Protection — supporting the regulatory and health promotion activities of Public Health Inspectors, Licensing Officers, Drinking Water Officers and Public Health Engineers.
