Patient Care Quality Office

Interior Health has established a central Patient Care Quality Office to receive, record, track and resolve complaints through our Health Service Area Patient Care Quality Officers. The Patient Care Quality Officer is the liaison between patients, clients, residents and Interior Health regarding concerns, complaints or unmet needs.

Patient Care Quality Officers assist people through the complaints process and ensure they understand their rights and responsibilities as well as how to use the healthcare system to meet their needs.

The position of Patient Care Quality Officer is an integral part of Interior Health's philosophy and approach towards working with patients, families and caregivers. Patient Care Quality Officers can help individuals access the services they need and address their questions and concerns.
