This centre is available to anyone in the Kootenay Boundary region who can attend in person on online (Zoom). The UPCC is located near the Castlegar Emergency Department in the Castlegar & District Community Health Centre.

The following services are available by calling 250-304-1289 in advance for an appointment:

  • Physiotherapy – services can be accessed without a physician referral, but the UPCC does not provide ICBC or WCB services that will require payment and reimbursement.
  • Social Work – services can be accessed without a referral.
  • Nursing – services can be accessed with a physician referral, physician prescriptions or directions.
