Interior Health offers a variety of Administrative and Clerical positions throughout our health centres, labs, hospitals and long term care centres. A few examples of the Administrative and Clerical opportunities we have are for Medical Office Assistants, Switchboard Operators, Nursing Unit Clerks, Medical Transcriptionists and Home Support Schedulers.  

With a family‐centered focus, you will work as part of a team of audiologists and audiometric technicians to provide comprehensive audiological and amplification services, including diagnostics and treatment, with specialization in paediatric and special populations. As part of the multidisciplinary team, you will work in cooperation with other professionals, agencies, community members and groups to address hearing related needs of individuals, families and the community.  

Health Care Assistant

Health Care Assistants are frontline care providers that work in a variety of practice settings including home support, assisted living, long-term care, complex care, special care units, acute care and other home and community settings. A Care Aide works in a team environment or acute facility and a Community Health Worker works independently, travelling to client’s homes. The demographic cared for are generally medically fragile, cognitively complex, and diverse in age.

Information Technology

IMIT at Interior Health has a wide variety of roles across several different teams. Our Technical portfolio has teams ranging from: Information Security, Networks & Telecommunications, and Core Technology Services; to Collaboration & Communication Systems, Business Systems, and Application Development & Integration, and more! Our Clinical Informatics portfolio supports many of IH’s clinical services, ranging from: Acute Systems, Physician & Emergency Systems, and Diagnostic Systems; to Health Information Exchange, Telehealth, Community Systems – just to name a few!


Lab locations for every lifestyle! Whether you are a Medical Lab Assistant, Lab Technologist or Professional Practice Leader, you’ll positively contribute to patient care through providing a variety of Laboratory services. Whether based in one of our small health clinics, regional hospitals, or at a tertiary site in a specialized Lab; our teams work collaboratively and in fast paced environments, to perform accurate and timely collection, testing and reporting.

Medical Imaging

Careers include general and cardiac ultrasound, mammography, radiography, nuclear medicine, ECG, Cardio Technology, MRI and more. The Medical Imaging Departments incorporate state-of-the-art technology and range from small rural sites to large tertiary sites, including trauma care.

Mental Health

Interior Health provides a wide range of Mental Health and Substance Use services, including short-term assessment and treatment, long-term programs for those with a serious and persistent mental illness, seniors’ mental health services as well as substance use prevention and treatment services. Programs are designed to support clients in their recovery.


We recruit new graduate registered nurses and experienced nurses with specialties such as neonatal intensive care unit, operating room, post anaesthetic care unit, intensive care unit and emergency room.


The Pharmacy team at Interior Health is constantly striving to be at the leading edge of healthcare through innovation, progression and dedication. Whether you are a Staff Pharmacist in the dispensary, a Clinical Pharmacist assessing and recommending individualized patient treatments or a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist working in a specific Pharmacotherapy practice area, you are part of a larger team that has been built on the foundation of support and collaboration.


Our Physiotherapists will work independently as well as collaboratively to be a part of a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team that promotes optimal health outcomes for their clients. We have positions in acute, community and residential settings – each with their own unique challenges and opportunities.

Occupational Therapist

Occupational Therapists at Interior Health have the opportunity to work with their clients in acute, residential and/or community care settings as well as specialty areas such as Mental Health. We provide a work environment conducive to growth and development of strong clinical skills, access to many clinical resources, and interdisciplinary environments where patients are at the centre of care.

Rehabilitation Assistant

Rehabilitation Assistants work in Acute Inpatient Care, Long-Term Care or Community Care. Under the clinical direction of a Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech Language Pathologist, the Rehabilitation Assistant carries out designated components of a rehabilitative treatment plan and/or program as directed. Identifies and reports observable social, emotional, cognitive, physical and functional factors which might impact the client’s therapeutic program and progress.
