Access:

Building Amenities:

Two garden courtyards. Three separate care units, each with dining room and sitting area.  All rooms private with window either on courtyard or exterior grounds.​

Accreditation is an external peer review process to assess and improve the services health care organizations provide to their patients and clients, based on standards of excellence set by Accreditation Canada.​

Philosophy of Care:

Our resident-centred philosophy is designed to support residents’ choices, help people function at their highest level and provide the best quality of life possible.​

Palliative care and end-of-life services, including  eligibility assessment and the provision of medical assistance in dying (MAiD), are available at this care home.

Type of Accommodation:

35 residential care beds, two of which are dedicated to respite/short stay.  ADP program M-F for seven clients.​

Cost:

Monthly rate is up to 80 per cent of client’s after tax income, with minimum and maximum rates set by the Ministry of Health Services. More information.​

Motorized Scooter Policy:

Allowed in a controlled manner for safety of all residents and continues monitor of appropriate use.​

Pet Policy:

Resident cat on the West unit.  No other pets allowed to reside.  Visitation allowed via coordination with the volunteer program.​

Safety & Security:

Each of the three nursing units is maintained with locked doors accessed by a code. The central garden courtyard is accessed/restricted in the same way.​
