Jackson House is located on the beautiful surroundings of Ashcroft, BC. Jackson House embodies a resident-centred philosophy designed to support residents’ choices, help people function at their highest level and provide the best quality of life possible.

Attached to the Ashcroft Hospital and Community Health Centre, the building also houses the ER department, community services and medical offices. This facility is a two-storey building with penthouse, has 25 publicly subsidized beds and offers a variety of services in one location.

Most rooms are single occupancy, but can be converted to double occupancy if required. One room has four beds. Jackson House is located on the main floor. The hospital was built in 1972; Jackson House established in 2004. All access and egress doors are magnetically locked with a keypad entry and exit system. We have an intrusion alarm, full fire sprinklers, and monitored fire alarm. An individual nurse call system is at all bedsides and washrooms. Vocera and a paging system are used throughout the entire building.

Jackson House has lovely outdoor patio and garden areas, and multiple indoor areas for families and residents.  Amenities also include ceiling track lifts, gift shop, lost and found, client mailboxes, newspapers, free parking, pet visitation allowed, public telephones, community TV areas, and volunteer services.

Recreational programs are offered seven days a week. The large community volunteer group assists with recreation programs or provides entertainment i.e. singing, card games, one-on-one visiting.
