Philosophy of Care:

Our resident-centred philosophy is designed to support residents’ choices, help people function at their highest level and provide the best quality of life possible.

Palliative care and end-of-life services, including  eligibility assessment and the provision of medical assistance in dying (MAiD), are available at this care home.

Type of Accommodation: 53 residential beds. 2 flexible short stay beds, 24 hour nursing service is provided with Physiotherapy and Rehab assistant services.

Monthly rate is up to 80 per cent of client’s after tax income, with minimum and maximum rates set by the Ministry of Health Services. More information.​

Special Recreation: We have a full program of activities to accommodate the interests and hobbies of our residents. Residents are encouraged to share their interests and ideas for activities. We have a bus available for group outings. All seasonal celebrations, special events and resident birthdays are celebrated.  Friends and family members are encouraged to attend these celebrations.   A monthly calendar is sent to each family member with the dates and times of the special events. Church services are offered by the different local churches.
We are wheelchair accessible; we also have an elevator.
Motorized Scooter Policy: For safety reasons before using a motorized scooter in our facility the resident is assessed by an Occupational Therapist.
Pet Policy:
Family members are encouraged to bring in their pets for regular visits.  To ensure resident safety pets must be on a leash at all times.  Residents are not permitted to have live-in pets.  Pets are not permitted in areas where food is being served.

Safety & Security: All of the exit doors and some of the interior doors are on a coded key pad.  We have a call bell system at the bedside in each room and a bed alarm system for those who need it.
Neighbourhood Community Amenities: Community bus is available for booking to take residents to appointments or to meet families/friends for outside activities.
