How we help you in your diagnosis

Diagnostic Imaging (DI) is used to produce images of the inside of the body for the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of conditions. Learn more about radiation safety.

What services are available?

Interior Health Diagnostic Imaging services include:

Interior Health uses a region-wide PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) to store, exchange, retrieve and manage medical images over a network. Patient’s diagnostic images can be accessed by health care professionals at any time of day from anywhere with a connection to the PACS network.

If you are unhappy with the service you received, you are encouraged to speak with the person who provided the service, or to the manager of the area.  All patients and clients are encouraged to try and resolve any issues at the time and place care is received.
