Impacted employees are strongly advised to stay in contact with IH Staffing Services at
to advise of status, updated contact information, and work availability. 

At all times, employees are encouraged to ensure the safety of their families and homes first and foremost.  

Questions & Answers for Impacted Staff

The Wildfire Frequently Asked Questions document for staff provides answers to many questions and concerns you may have, such as whether you are being paid if you are not working due to wildfire disruptions.

Many staff are re-entering evacuated IH sites. Please read the Evacuated Sites Re-Entry Questions and Answers document for more information.

Any additional questions can be directed to the Human Resources Hotline. This toll-free number is available for all IH employees who have questions relating to employment processes and the current wildfire events. Call 1-855-802-9944 to speak with an HR representative.

Provincial Relief Funding for Evacuees

The Canadian Red Cross is supporting the B.C. government in providing relief for those affected by the wildfires. If you have been evacuated, please call the contact centre at 1-800-863-6582 to have a Red Cross agent help you register, or fill out the online registration form.
