Better information = better care

Interior Health is committed to building an open and collaborative relationship with the Aboriginal community. This includes developing a better understanding of the diverse needs of Aboriginals, as clients and patients, and better responding to those needs. 

The Aboriginal Self Identification (ASI) initiative, which collects data on the Aboriginal identity of Interior Health clients and patients, this will assist in efforts to design and deliver more culturally sensitive programs.
