Surgical diagnosis codes, priority levels and wait time targets are required clinical information for all scheduled surgical cases to ensure appropriate wait time benchmarks for patients.
To ensure patients are scheduled within their respective priority categories and to support ongoing waitlist management, surgeons should select the patient diagnosis codes, corresponding priority level and wait time targets. See the Patient Prioritization Codes Overview for more details.
