Notice: COVID-19 Vaccine Requirements for Students, Faculty, Researchers, and Contractors
Under the Provincial Health Order issued on October 21, 2021, all students, faculty, research team members, and contractors must show proof of vaccination to access our care locations unless they have proof of a medical exemption. A care location includes inside or outside places in which health care or services are provided.
Students, faculty, research team members, contractors and volunteers with only a first dose before October 12, 2021 must receive a second dose no later than November 15, wear a mask and not enter a care location within 7 days of receiving their second dose. Those who received their first dose between October 12, 2021, and October 25, 2021 must receive a second dose of vaccine 28 to 35 days after receiving the first dose of vaccine, wear a mask and wait until 7 days have passed after receiving the second dose of vaccine.

BC Data Scout – an online tool that gives health researchers a general idea about how many people in B.C. meet specific health characteristics or criteria. It offers a quick way of discovering if there’s enough information about people with certain health characteristics to support a research study, using just a single point of access.

REACH BC - an online platform that aims to improve how British Columbians can connect with opportunities to volunteer in health research
REDCap (Research Electronic Data Capture) - a secure web application for building and managing online surveys and databases. Access to REDCap can be requested free of charge if the work is patient oriented.
