Frequently Asked Questions
No, all candidates must apply via IH Careers website to be considered for a student position. Your application through the University job board does not transfer to IH.
If you do not see a posting that is the right fit, you are encouraged to apply for job alerts. You will be alerted via email when there is a job that matches your alert.
Both Co-op and Non-Co-op students are considered for student positions, unless the posting indicates the requirement of a Co-op student. If you are a student enrolled in a post-secondary program, you are encouraged to apply.
The application review process typically takes 2 to 4 weeks. However, actual timelines can vary significantly based on the department and the volume of applications being processed.
In order to be eligible for a student position, you must be actively enrolled in a post-secondary program. If you have completed your degree, you are encouraged to apply on other vacancies that match your education and experience at jobs.interiorhealth.ca.
