The Creston-Kootenay Foundation is driven by a single goal: to do our part in making our community a better place for all.

The East Kootenay Foundation for Health is a non-profit society incorporated on July 19, 1983, under the Societies Act (S-18331) and a charitable public foundation under the Federal Charities Act which is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. The EKFH serves over 85,000 people in the East Kootenay Interior Health region including all hospitals, long-term care homes and health care centres in Creston, Cranbrook, Kimberley, Fernie, Elkford, Sparwood, Invermere and Golden.

Incorporated in 1983, the Arrow Lakes Hospital Foundation has been managing our community's charitable donations, gifts and legacies so as to benefit the Arrow Lakes Hospital and those using its services, and to further develop and promote health services in our community. In addition, we provide bursaries to enable students to undertake and/or continue their health-related studies. Our Foundation is fully governed and managed by a dedicated group of community volunteers.

The Castlegar & District Hospital Foundation has been actively fundraising for over 30 years, having been officially incorporated under the Society Act of British Columbia on Oct. 30, 1987. Largely through community donations, it supports purchases of medical equipment and provides other resources for the Castlegar Health Centre Emergency Department, Medical Lab, X-ray and other Departments including Urgent and Primary Care, as well as for Talarico Place. The Foundation works to enhance patient care and generally further the interests and objectives of the health centre and its adjoining long-term care facility.

Since 1988, the KBRH Health Foundation, formerly the Trail Regional Hospital Foundation, has raised funds to advance health care in the Kootenay Boundary. The Foundation’s revenue is generated through gifts from donors. A volunteer Board of Directors governs the Foundation. Funding priorities include: equipment, patient care & comfort and staff education. 

Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital responds to the health care needs of 80,000 residents and offers specialist services, core medical services and advanced diagnostic services to the residents of its 29,000 sq. km area of accountability.

Kootenay Lake Hospital Foundation is governed by a group of dedicated volunteers whose purpose is to raise funds to purchase priority medical equipment for Kootenay Lake Hospital. We all benefit from quality health care and this means up-to-date equipment, efficient diagnosis and treatment available to closer to home.

The Board of Directors manages donated funds to purchase items to enhance the lives of the residents and/or to provide a safe and more home like environment at Jubilee Manor.

The Phoenix Foundation helps the people of the Boundary Region by bringing people together to identify and address local issues, encourage philanthropy and fund charitable activities. The Foundation assembles and administers permanent “income-earning” endowment funds that continue to grow thanks to support from financial gifts and bequests of area residents, local businesses, the Vancouver Foundation and other charitable organizations.

Since 1978, the KGH Foundation has worked with a generous community to raise funds to support world-class health care close to home for a rapidly expanding and diverse population in the interior of B.C. Today, the KGH Foundation is the lead fundraising organization for Kelowna General Hospital and its associated facilities, JoeAnna’s House and Central Okanagan Hospice House.

For over 40 years, the SOS Medical Foundation has been committed to improving health care. Facilities throughout Keremeos, Oliver, Osoyoos, Penticton, Princeton and Summerland depend on all of us to support the care delivered in their communities. Thanks to our donors, the SOS Medical Foundation is able to respond to the greatest needs through purchasing medical equipment, funding programs, and enhancing the health care delivery infrastructure to elevate the patient experience.

Founded in 2007, The Colin & Lois Pritchard Foundation provides grants to qualified donees representing a broad cross section of charities including the areas of health, arts and culture, emergency services, and other organizations that provide services to people in need.

Vernon Jubilee Hospital Foundation is a charitable society that supports health care in the North Okanagan by raising funds for Long-Term Care Facilities, Community Health Services and Vernon Jubilee Hospital.

The Cariboo Memorial Hospital Foundation is a not-for-profit group whose main objective is to raise funds through events and donations to expand the health care services available to our community at Cariboo Memorial Hospital.

The Chase and District Health Services Foundation is a non-profit Society incorporated and registered in March 1997 under the BC Societies Act and Revenue Canada as a Federal Charity. The Foundation provides support for patient services in the Chase and District catchment area through community events, annual fundraising, donations and bequests; these funds are used for development, equipment, education and research. The Lillooet District Hospital Foundation hosts events to raise funds to support the Lillooet District Hospital including: Harvest Dinner & Auction, book sales, bake sale, and craft fair. Donations also accepted directly. The beneficiaries are the hospital and its ancillary operations.

The  Nicola Valley Health Care Endowment Foundation, incorporated in 1984, provides funding to the Nicola Valley Health Centre, Coquihalla / Gillis House, the Berta Fraser Centre, and other health-care initiatives and projects throughout the Nicola Valley.

The Revelstoke District Health Foundation was established in 1983 to fundraise, accept donations and manage funds for the purpose of disbursing to health-related programs and activities in the community of Revelstoke.

The RIH Foundation is committed to inspiring donors and building meaningful relationships to support Royal Inland Hospital and our Community’s health care needs, both now and in the future.

Since 1986 the Shuswap Hospital Foundation has been working towards providing the best possible health care by raising funds for much needed priority equipment and facilities. The amazing generosity of donors has enabled the Shuswap Hospital Foundation to provide excellence in patient care and comfort to our family, friends and neighbours.

 The South Cariboo Health Foundation’s goal is to support and provide help to local health facilities, as well as other community health projects, and to ensure that equipment and resources are available to meet the needs of patients.
