Our Access Mental Health & Substance Use Services (MHSU) aims to provide a safe space where you can be connected to the service or services that meet your needs.
To self-refer, call 310-MHSU (6478) or visit your local MHSU Centre. Or feel free to speak to your family doctor or nurse practitioner to ask for a referral.
When you contact MHSU, an intake clinician will ask you a series of screening questions with your permission to understand you better, and connect you with the right team, program or resources.
Primary care providers or agencies, please complete the Community MHSU Referral Form and fax it to your local MHSU Centre, or call 310-MHSU (6478).
For immediate, free, and confidential emotional support, crisis intervention and/or community resource information 24 hours/day, seven days/week, please call the Interior Crisis Line Network at 1-888-353-2273.
If picking up the phone is challenging and uncomfortable, please use the "Talk Suicide" chat service.
For life-threatening situations, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency department.
