We Are IH: Williams Lake clerk celebrates 20 years with IH

There have been many highlights during Rebecca’s career, but the friendships she’s made along the way make the top of the list. Additionally, the first time she had success with a newborn blood collection was a moment she is proud of. The events at Cariboo Memorial Hospital that she’s attended have also been a high point.

Before her career in health care, Rebecca was a hairdresser for 15 years. In her youth, her father was a helicopter pilot, so her family moved around a lot, including to Alberta, B.C., the Northwest Territories and the Yukon.

When not at work, you can find Rebecca renovating her living spaces, camping or fishing. Travelling is a passion and she’s currently planning her next big trip to Ireland. Rebecca also loves participating in obstacle racing like Tough Mudder and Mudderella.

Little-known fact? Rebecca has always had a fascination with plastic surgery. “It’s not for everyone, but I really like it.”
