A licence is required to operate a facility providing care

A Community Care Facilities Licence is required for all programs and facilities providing care to three or more persons who are not related to the operator by blood or marriage.

Step 1: Review the Guide to Applying for a Residential Care Licence for Applicants.

Step 2: Follow the process detailed in the Guide and submit all documents, forms, and policies to Licensing Direct. Go to the Information for Applicants page for more information. Familiarize yourself with legislation and standards.

Step 3: Submit necessary completed forms or documents listed below to Licensing Direct. A licensing officer will review your information and contact you.
