As public bodies, health authorities have a legal obligation under the Freedom of Information & Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA) to protect personal information in their custody and control. Employee education is a key factor in meeting this obligation.
This annual training module helps to mitigate the risk of privacy and security breaches by reminding Interior Health employees, medical staff, contractors and other partners of their privacy responsibilities.
