Recreational Water Permits & Resources
Designers and operators of public and commercial pools can learn how to apply for a pool or hot tub permit, and access resources like pool operator courses.
Recreational water permits
You must receive approval from Interior Health before constructing a new public or commercial swimming pool or hot tub. A properly built and maintained pool or hot tub ensures both a safe physical environment and clean water.
