COVID-19
Additional public health measures have been put in place to help further protect people and our health-care system, as B.C. experiences a rapid and concerning increase in COVID-19 cases.
Strengthened measures include:
New public health orders effective December 22, 2021 at 11:59PM to January 18, 2022 at 11:59PM
Expanded use of rapid tests
Accelerated roll-out of boosters for general population from January to March 2022
Postponing non-urgent scheduled surgeries starting January 4, 2022 to help manage pressure on acute care facilities
