The Elkford Urgent and Primary Care Centre (UPCC), located at the Elkford Health Centre, provides team-based care for non-emergency health concerns to individuals in Elkford and surrounding communities.

If you have a health emergency that requires immediate care, call 911 or present at the Sparwood or Fernie emergency department.

Care at the Elkford UPCC is available for concerns such as:

  • Minor injuries
  • Sprains and strains
  • Minor infections (e.g., UTI)
  • Mild fever
  • Minor cuts, wounds, or skin conditions
