ASHCROFT - Ashcroft and area residents are advised of a temporary change to the emergency department (ED) hours at the Ashcroft Hospital and Community Health Care Centre overnight tonight due to limited staffing availability.

Interior Health is expanding COVID-19 immunization clinic capacity throughout the region to make it easier for more people to get their booster dose as soon as they are eligible.  

Merritt and area residents are advised that the emergency department at Nicola Valley Hospital will be closed today from 5:30 p.m. until 8 a.m. tomorrow, Jan. 12 due to unforeseen limited physician availability.

Residents are advised that COVID-19 rapid antigen tests are temporarily unavailable at the IH Community Collection Centres in Kelowna and West Kelowna.

Clearwater and area residents are advised that the emergency department at Dr. Helmcken Memorial Hospital is closed tonight due to limited staffing availability and inclement weather. Lab services will not be available during the emergency department closure.

Blue River and area residents are advised that the Blue River Health Centre will be closed Dec. 30 and 31 due to limited staffing availability.
