About Apple Lane Tertiary Mental Health Geriatric Unit

Apple Lane is a 6 bed Tertiary Specialized Residential Program focused on care for the geriatric population who have been diagnosed with a serious and persistent mental illness.  Individuals often have needs relating to severe chronic psychiatric and/or multiple medical conditions.

Apple Lane will provide an integrated segregated service for those who require daily assistance with their physical care and who are functionally compatible with Overlander Residential Care residents.

Admission is by physician referral only.

Tertiary Mental Health Services and Home & Community Care (HCC) have partnered to promote a cross over of skills and knowledge, as they jointly support a purposefully renovated unit within Overlander Residential Care located at 953 Southills St., in Kamloops.
