Interior Health provides both medication (medical) and procedural (surgical) abortion services. These services are offered in safe, private and non-judgmental spaces.

Types of abortion
- Medication (Medical) Abortion: Available up to 10 weeks of pregnancy at some locations in B.C. Medication abortion (2 pill combination) is free for B.C. residents with medical service plan (MSP).
- Procedural (Surgical or Aspiration) Abortion: Typically, available up to 13 weeks and six days of pregnancy, and up to 24 weeks and 6 days at some locations in B.C.
