Addiction Medicine Consultation Services provides services for people with substance use concerns while in emergency departments or during a hospital stay.

A physician with a specialty in addiction medicine is part of the health care team and guides evidence based treatments.

If  Addiction Medicine Consult Services is not available at your hospital, or for after-hours support, please contact the service at Kelowna General Hospital or Kootenay Boundary Regional hospital (whichever is closer), or contact the BCCSU 24/7 Addiction Medicine Clinicians Support Line at 778-945-7619.
