Public health dietitians aim to increase access to nutritious food, improve food skills, create healthy eating environments, strengthen local food systems, and promote optimal nutrition across the lifespan.  Services include resources, training, and support for developing policies and initiatives that increase healthy eating and food security.

We also work closely with the Interior Health Indigenous Food Security Lead to support Indigenous food security priorities.

Community partners and health professionals can find helpful resources on our Nutrition and Food Security webpage.

For general healthy eating, food, or nutrition questions, please call the dietitians at HealthLink BC at 8-1-1 or email a HealthLink BC Dietitian.
