Register as early in your pregnancy as possible for Healthy From the Start so that you can:

  • Have questions answered
  • Receive important pregnancy information
  • Receive free copies of Baby’s Best Chance & Toddlers First Steps books
  • Feel supported and gain confidence
  • Get connected to health services, such as support from a public health nurse​
  • Be referred to health services and programs to support your individual needs.

Topics you can receive information on may include:

  • Nutrition
  • Alcohol and tobacco
  • Sexual health
  • Safety immunization and more

To register for Healthy From the Start

Call the confidential toll-free phone line 1-855-868-7710 to speak to a public health nurse. You may also self-refer by completing the secure online form to have a nurse will call you. Learn more about Healthy From The Start.
