What does an IPN do?

An IPN walks alongside Indigenous patients, families, and communities on their healing journeys. IPNs help people navigate and access health-care services, connect patients with care teams and community supports, amplify Indigenous voices in health care, reduce barriers to care, and advocate for culturally safe care.

They build bridges between health systems and Indigenous communities while supporting whole-person wellness through trust, respect, and self-determination.

How do I access an IPN?

Ask your care provider to refer to you the IPN service or connect directly with the IPN if they are available at your location.
