Acute care services provided to expectant women experiencing labour and delivery. Services may include obstetrical care, surgical procedures, a family birthing unit or access to a single room maternity care unit.   Not all acute care sites are equipped to deliver all services noted. Please consult with attending midwife, family physician or obstetrician for more information.
