Prenatal & childbirth education programs provide information parents-to-be will need for a healthy pregnancy and a healthy start to your child’s life. Expectant mothers and their partners or support persons are encouraged to sign-up for and attend classes as early in the pregnancy as possible. These classes will provide a range of information, including breastfeeding and nutrition.  Not all acute care sites are equipped to deliver all services noted. Please consult with attending midwife, family physician or obstetrician for more information.  Contact your health centre for more information and services available.
