Born in Vancouver, Andrea is a family nurse practitioner (NP) passionate about supporting her clients’ health goals, and offering preventive care to improve the quality of life of her community. She enjoys connecting with people, and describes herself as kind, compassionate and driven.

Andrea graduated with her master’s degree in 2009, and has been with Interior Health since. “Back then, there was a handful of NPs working in Interior Health,” she recalls. “Now there’s a robust community. I look forward to seeing our community continue to grow.”

It’s really exciting to be a part of the changes my clients and patients make, and how this affects multiple facets of their lives.

Andrea feels proudest when her clients achieve their health goals. “They’re excited about what they have achieved. It’s inspiring to be a part of their health team,” she says.

When she’s not working, you’ll find Andrea hiking, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. In warmer months, Andrea does agility training with her duck toller Barney – a passion that takes the pair to competitions.
