Interior Health provides a wide range of Mental Health and Substance Use services, including short-term assessment and treatment, long-term programs for those with a serious and persistent mental illness, seniors’ mental health services as well as substance use prevention and treatment services. Programs are designed to support clients in their recovery.

Mental Health and Substance Use services are provided in a variety of settings including community clinics, hospitals, specialized settings for intensive treatment (by specialist referral), residential support settings, family doctors’ offices, urban health centres and on an outreach basis. Residential care and supported housing programs are also available for adults and seniors.
