Licensing for community & child care providers
As a community care facility licensee, you must have a licence if you wish to operate a program or facility that provides care to three or more persons who are not related to you by blood or marriage. By applying for a licence, you’re requesting permission to operate a community care facility.
You are also agreeing to obey all legislation, regulations and standards that apply to the type of facility that you operate, and to do so for as long as you operate your facility.
You must also apply for amendments or exemptions if you make certain changes to your facility.
