Interior Health's outpatient laboratory services at the South Similkameen Health Centre will end October 13, 2023 as new services with the expanded hours start at this new location.

Hours for South Similkameen Health Centre Laboratory
Starting October 16, 2023, Laboratory services in Keremeos will be available at a new location:
Valley Medical Laboratories (operated by Dynacare)
310 Veteran’s Way, Keremeos.
The South Similkameen Health Centre Laboratory in Keremeos has temporarily paused lab appointment bookings due to a critical staffing shortage.
Currently, walk in service is available only for:
- INR testing
- Urgent orders as authorized by physicians
- Additional lab service is available at Penticton Regional Hospital Lab:

Walk-in with routine testing: Monday to Friday 7:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Walk in with urgent and time sensitive testing: Monday to Friday 7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Patients can also attend one of the Okanagan Clinical Labs/Valley Medical Labs located in Penticton. Please note that Okanagan Clinical Labs/Valley Medical Labs are separate from Interior Health laboratories. Requisitions and standing orders must be faxed by your ordering physician to Okanagan Clinical Labs/Valley Medical Labs.
