Honesty. Integrity. Accountability.

We care about doing the right thing. And we know you do, too.

Our Safe Reporting Hotline helps you report a known or suspected case of wrongdoing committed by anyone associated with Interior Health.  This hotline does not replace other established processes such as discussions with management or the Patient Care Quality Office for concerns about patient care from the patient or members of the public, or concerns about licensed facilities used by IH.

When should the Safe Reporting Hotline be used?

Reports should be made through the hotline if you are aware of:

  • Actions that are unlawful or not in compliance with any laws or regulations
  • Theft, fraud, bribery, or corruption
  • Unethical or unprofessional conduct
  • Unauthorized use, misuse, or waste of public funds or resources
  • Non-compliance with procurement rules or other unfair trade practices
  • Actions that are not in compliance with IH policies or procedures, internal financial controls, or audit procedures
  • Actions with a real or perceived conflict of interest
  • Mistreatment of patients, staff, or members of the public
  • Actions that pose a danger to patients, public health, or the environment

Please note: Your report will be treated confidentially. Reports in good faith can be made without fear of reprisal, harassment, or retaliation.
