From May 5-9, 2025, the Healthcare Travelling Roadshow made its way to high schools in Salmo, Creston and Lumby. More than 450 students got to roll up their sleeves and explore real-world health-care careers through hands-on activities and face-to-face learning.

With a team of nine post-secondary health-care students leading the way, the annual Roadshow offers an interactive and engaging look into the many opportunities in the health-care sector. The Roadshow aims to inform, inspire and spark interest in exciting future careers.

Lillooet and area residents are advised of temporary changes to emergency department hours at Lillooet Hospital and Health Centre.

Emergency services will be unavailable from 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 20 to 8 a.m. on Wednesday, May 21, 2025. Patients can access emergency care at Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops during this time.

Lillooet and area residents are advised of temporary changes to emergency department hours at Lillooet Hospital and Health Centre.

Emergency services will be unavailable from 7 p.m. on Monday, May 19 to 8 a.m. on Tuesday, May 20, 2025. Patients can access care at Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops during this time.

All other inpatient services will continue at Lillooet Hospital and Health Centre.

New Denver and area residents are advised of temporary changes to emergency department hours at Slocan Community Health Centre.

Emergency services will be unavailable from 6-8 p.m. on Saturday, May 17, 2025. Patients can access emergency care at Arrow Lakes Hospital in Nakusp during this time.

All other inpatient services will continue at Slocan Community Health Centre.

Keremeos and area residents are advised of temporary changes to emergency department hours at South Similkameen Health Centre.

Emergency services will be unavailable from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, May 16. Patients can access emergency care at Penticton Regional Hospital during this time.

All other inpatient services will continue at South Similkameen Health Centre.

Lillooet and area residents are advised of temporary changes to emergency department hours at Lillooet Hospital and Health Centre.

Emergency services will be unavailable from 7 a.m. Friday, May 16 to 8 a.m. on Saturday, May 17, 2025. Patients can access care at Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops during this time.

All other inpatient services will continue at Lillooet Hospital.
