Favourite Quote / Advice to Live By: “A good idea, is a good idea—it doesn't matter who it comes from, always take the time to listen.” —Paraphrased from Alex Trebek's autobiography

Working as a lifeguard for Parks Canada at Radium Hot Springs made Tomas Hucul realize his true calling was helping people. After trying different industries, he landed in health care where he felt he could make more of an impact in people’s lives, specifically their health and well-being.

Now as a recruitment assistant at Interior Health (IH), he enables others to do their best work.

“Although I am not directly saving people's lives on the front lines, I help support the people who do,” he shares. “I strive to provide the best service and support during the hiring process for new employees so that they may feel welcomed, informed and eager to use their valuable skills in patient care.”
