Licensed Substance Use Facilities
Interior Health Community Care Facility Licensing (CCFL) has partnered with the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Mental Health and Addictions on a project to increase the availability of online information for Substance Use care facilities.
These facilities are licensed under the Community Care and Assisted Living Act and Residential Care Regulation. The purpose of the project is to provide additional information to the public on the types of services that are provided by each licensed Substance Use facility, and increase public knowledge of services across British Columbia.
Below you will find a completed questionnaire with information provided by operators of licensed Substance Use facilities in the Interior Health region.

Community Care Facility Licensing (CCFL) of Substance Use facilities: The role of CCFL is to provide regulatory oversight and ensure licensed facilities are operating in a healthy and safe manner and in compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act and Residential Care Regulation. This Provincial Legislation sets out the minimum health, safety and care standards of which all facility operators must meet and maintain at all times.
CCFL is committed to informing the public about our work and the legislative requirements, as well as providing information about care facilities to the public. One way we do this is by posting care facility routine monitoring and/or follow-up inspection reports, as well as substantiated complaint inspection reports on the Interior Health CCFL Inspection Reports database. This database allows members of the public to search a care facility by name to view these reports.
Substance Use Services and Resources: If you or someone you know is struggling with substance use and addiction, or seeking care and services at a substance use facility, please refer to Interior Health's Substance Use & Addictions Services page on the Interior Health website for information and support available.
