Interior Health (IH) is planning for the return of some pediatric services at Kelowna General Hospital (KGH). Beginning July 13, some services will return including elective pediatric surgeries, diagnostic procedures that require sedation for children and admitting patients to the pediatric unit during daytime hours.

Emergency services will be unavailable from 4 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Tuesday, July 8, 2025. Patients can access emergency care in Penticton Regional Hospital during this time.
All other inpatient services will continue at South Okanagan General Hospital.
