Learn more about OAT
The primary medications used are Buprenorphine / Naloxone (Suboxone®) and Methadone. OAT is widely available through Interior Health Mental Health and Substance Use centres, community clinics, primary care providers (doctors and Nurse Practitioners), and hospital Emergency Departments.
If you’re concerned about your opioid use (i.e. fentanyl, morphine, oxycodone, heroin, etc.), speak to your primary care provider or call 310-6478 (MHSU) to be connected directly to your local Mental Health and Substance Use centre.
