Please note that certain lab tests have specific time, location or shipping requirements and cannot be accommodated through online booking. These appointments must be arranged directly by calling the laboratory in your area. Examples of these tests are Holter monitors, semen analysis, sweat chloride and special out-of-province referral tests. If a test requiring special arrangements is booked online, lab staff may advise at the time of your visit that the appointment must be rescheduled.

Check the location near you for lab outpatient service hours of operation and to find out what services are available at each site. Some lab sites offer ECG (Electrocardiogram) and Holter Monitor services.

Please note that all IH Laboratory Outpatient Services are closed on statutory holidays. Be sure to bring your lab requisition and your CareCard/BC Services Card with you when you come for all Outpatient Laboratory Service visits.
