Integrated Treatment Teams offer non-judgmental, discreet and flexible substance use treatment and support in your community. Treatment can include both counselling and medications, and can be provided online or in-person depending on your goals and preference.
One of the most important and unique aspects of the team’s approach is the support provided by peers – people with personal experience with substance use who are there for you to provide advice or just listen. People like Patrick and Jessica.

“I can use my lived experience to hopefully help someone else work through their journey,” explains Jessica. “It’s about self care and learning to love ourselves.”
“If someone comes to me as a Peer Supporter and wants to move towards health and wellness then I’ll support them however I can in achieving those goals, and I don’t have any attachments to what those goals are,” says Patrick. “It’s a low-barrier service. You don’t have to stop your job or go away somewhere to do this. And it’s not a big time commitment. This is a big change in how we approach substance use and mental health.”
Integrated Treatment Teams are available in Kamloops, West Kelowna, North Okanagan, South Okanagan, and Cranbrook.
