New IH media centre page prioritizes media’s needs

November 15, 2021

Extra! Extra! Read all about the Media Centre page on our new website.

We value our relationships with media representatives throughout B.C.’s Southern Interior and beyond. When building our new person-centred public website it was important to build a responsive and comprehensive media centre to allow for efficient access to information.

The Media Centre page can be accessed through the URL https://www.interiorhealth.ca/about-ih/media-centre and through two menu locations (About IH – Media Centre and Information For – Media). On the page, you can:

View news releases

News releases are displayed front-and-centre on our Media Centre page so you can stay up-to-date on the latest news throughout the region. You can also subscribe to updates through our subscription form for news, alerts, Stories@IH posts or COVID-19 news.

We also have an archives section if you want to catch up on older stories or conduct some research.

Contact us & read our policy

All media requests for interviews and access to our facilities are to be directed to Media Relations. If you’re not already familiar with how to get in touch with us, the Media Centre contains information on how to reach us during business hours and after hours.

Read our media policy to learn how we gather information for media representatives, coordinate interviews with health-care providers, staff and patients, and facilitate access to our facilities.
