Update on Interior Health Services for Sept. 19, 2022

On Tuesday, Sept. 13, the Province of British Columbia announced a holiday for all provincial public-sector employees in recognition of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

Interior Health intends to proceed with all scheduled patient care services, programs and appointments taking place on Sept. 19, 2022, including:

  • Surgeries
  • Booked appointments at public health centres
  • Mass vaccination clinics for COVID-19 boosters
  • Laboratories
  • Urgent and emergency services

We encourage residents to call their hospital or health centre to confirm hours before dropping in without an appointment on Monday, Sept. 19.
