About Slocan Primary Care Satellite Clinic
The Slocan Primary Care Satellite Clinic offers a comprehensive range of services, including preventive care such as routine physicals, health screenings (e.g., blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes, cancer), well-child checkups, and lifestyle counseling.
- Acute illness management covers treatment for common illnesses, minor injuries, and short-term conditions like rashes and fevers
- Chronic disease management focuses on ongoing care for conditions like diabetes, hypertension, and asthma, including regular monitoring and treatment adjustments
- Reproductive health services include family planning, sexually transmitted infection (STI) care, and birth control counseling (excluding IUD insertion)
- Palliative care involves office-based support, referrals, and home visits when needed
- The clinic also provides women’s health services such as prenatal/postnatal care and cervical/breast screenings, as well as pediatric well-child visits and geriatric care, including memory screening and fall prevention. Additionally, minor procedures like joint injections are available for managing chronic pain

Wednesdays: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Appointment are for existing/attached patients, and only for non-urgent, non-emergency primary care services. There are no walk-in services.
