Residents return to Dr. Andrew Pavillion as Summerland Health Centre is set to reopen

All residents of Dr. Andrew Pavillion long-term care home have returned home following the evacuation related to the Bald Range wildfire. Residents were temporarily relocated to alternative sites on Saturday, Aug. 8 due to risks associated with the fire.

Interior Health (IH) has worked closely with families, caregivers, and community partners to support the safe and successful return of these residents, which is now complete. We are grateful for the dedication of all those who helped care for residents throughout the evacuation and repatriation process.

Temporary service interruption at Lillooet Hospital emergency department

Lillooet and area residents are advised of temporary changes to emergency department hours at Lillooet Hospital and Health Centre.

Emergency services will be unavailable from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 5, 2026. Patients can access care at Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops during this time.

All other inpatient services will continue at Lillooet Hospital.
