Postpartum contact and assessment is provided to all new families in Interior Health. Further follow-up is available and provided as necessary by Public Health Nurses, or by referral to other appropriate services.   Not all acute care sites are equipped to deliver all services noted. Please consult with attending midwife, family physician or obstetrician for more information.
